Aishwarya
RAi Bachan or Aishwarya Bachan gives birth
on November, 1, 1973 in Mangalore. Her
father was a marine biologist whose name
was Krishnaraj Rai and her mother Vrinda
Rai, a writer. Her birth name is Aishwarya
Rai. She is an internationally renowned
Indian Actress. Before joining the film
industry, she worked as a model, and also
won the Miss World contest in 1994.
After she was born, her parents moved to
Mumbai where she attended the Arya Vidya
Mandir High school in Santa Cruz. Then she
entered JAi Hind college at Church gate for
one year, and than moved to Ruparel
College in Matunga to finish her "HSC"
studies. She did well in school and
planned to became an architect.
Rai has previously dated Bollywood Actors
Salman Khan and Vivek Oberoi.
She
got married on April 20, 2007 with an
Indian Actor Abhishek Bachan.
Aishwarya Rai made her acing debut in Mani
Ratnam's Tamil film, Iruvar (1997) with
Mohanlal, and was introduced to Bollywood
in the film, Aur pyar ho gaya opposite
Bobby Deol, which also released that year,
The film did't do well at the box office.
However, her third project, S.Shankar's
Tamil film, Jeans (1998) was a critical
and commercial success. After this film
she won the Filmfare Best Actress Award
South.
